The 4 and ten give a handsome nine to five (nine dollars given back for ever $5 risked) reward, so if you lay $5 on the pair of numbers, you’ll win nine dollars if either one hits. Of course, if you purchased the same numbers you will win a bit more, but you’ll need to make at least a twenty-five dollar bet on both ($50 total) to make this productive.

What you will be watching for is three hits on the 4 or 10 to make your $$$$. If the shooter is an excellent one, you’ll most certainly make this wager, and this is how you’ll do it.
First, lay five dollars on both the 4 and 10. Let us say that the 4 hits and you earn nine dollars. Take both numbers down and you’ll have 19 dollars in your hand (14 dollars from the 4 and $5 from the 10). Add a dollar to this and lay the 4 once more for 20 dollars. When you win you get thirty six dollars plus your $20 back. Pocket the $6 and bet the four a 3rd time for fifty dollars. This third hit wins you ninety dollars, and you pull it all down. You have changed your initial investment of $5 into $90 in only three hits.
Now if the ten hit first you will be wagering on that number rather than the four. And, you should bet only if the shooter is good enough to wager on – does he lay big bets on himself and look like he will be an excellent shooter? If not, don’t bet on them – look for another table or delay for the next shooter.
In thirty six sample rolls, you should observe three 4s and 3 10s, a total of six hits – the same number as the 7, so selecting a good shooter is very vital.
